Traffic Ticket Diversion Program in Henderson County KY

We will have our meeting Wednesday. January 18, 2012 at noon in the directors suite at OVFG.

We have invited Steve Gold, Henderson KY County Attorney. He wants to tell us about the New Traffic Ticket Diversion Program that is coming to our county and how it positively affects auto insurance.  The program will expunge speeding tickets for offenders attending and completing the program.

Please take a moment and read about the program from the Gleaner in this article.

I want to encourage everyone to attend since we do have a guest speaker and this is an important matter.

Please let me know if you will be at the meeting.  Kathy K. Willoughby

Get Real! And Take the Real-Time Survey

If your agency has not had the chance to complete the Real Time/Download Campaign’s agency technology survey, please do so before the survey closes on October 3. Our association fully supports this survey conducted by the industry’s Real Time/Download Campaign (www.getrealtime.org). No matter how “automated” you feel your agency is, your input is extremely valuable. If you receive this survey from more than one organization with which you’re affiliated, please only respond once per agency.

Please take the survey now by going to this link: http://bit.ly/AgentSurvey

Those who participate in the survey will also be eligible to enter a drawing in which several $50 gift cards will be awarded based upon the numbers of agencies which respond to the survey. Last year’s survey provided invaluable insights to the industry which helped numerous carriers and vendors to continue to improve and broaden the innovative workflows they provide to their agencies. Thank you very much for taking the survey.

InVEST Insurance Education Program in Louisville KY

2011 marks the second semester for the InVEST program at Jefferson Community & Technical College and as we begin this new year, InVEST would like to thank you for your support in making our program’s first semester a success.  We couldn’t have done it without you and as we pass this first milestone and move toward the next, please help us make this next semester as successful as the first!

One of our primary objectives in starting the InVEST program was to bring new talent to the insurance industry so that perpetuation of both industry and insurance businesses are made possible.  We not only set our sights on perpetuation but also on the quality of the insurance program we offer.  We developed our program, in conjunction with the AAI program, to be a comprehensive, hands-on, two year education program that thoroughly immerses students in the fundamentals of Insurance and Risk Management. So, by the time our InVEST students complete the AAI Certificate progam they will have the necessary skills to become an insurance professional and you will have a workforce pipeline of eager, well educated recruits that have made a career in insurance their choice!

With this vision in mind, we ask that you and your agency consider sending any potential InVEST candidate through our program.  If you know of anyone looking to get into the insurance industry or anyone who aspires to achieve their AAI designation, please ask them to consider our InVEST program, Insurance and Risk Management at JCTC.
